A limited lunch menu was not as interesting as our previous evening visit's Excellent on all fronts, tho a bit loud for conversation. I took my date here Sunday night and they were doing the meat and threes menu. The menu was hard to understand at first but with a quick explanation from the server it was very easy to order. Not very busy so they were able to take us before our reservation. The food was delicious, but definitely more quiet and empty table than previous visits.

Great wine selection and cocktails. Wait staff and kitchen were excellent. Had a strict vegan at the table and they went out of their way to accommodate her needs and could not have been more pleasant about.

Highly recommend the restaurant. Great staff usually make a great restaurant. Tried the pulled pork sandwich today, which was excellent! Also got to sample a bite of a friend's poor boy sandwich, which was also delicious. Town Hall just keeps getting better and better. Second time in the past two months that I've been to Town Hall for a business lunch. Love the vibe of the place and in the many years I've been going there, I've never stumbled on a dish I did not love.

The wait staff has always been attentive without being overbearing, and have always been helpful to me. All the food was amazing. The only thing I take issue with is the cornbread. It comes covered in a course sea salt. Don't get me wrong I like the salt craze that's going on: But I'm a southern girl, born in Memphis.

And salt is the last thing you put on top of cornbread. Brown sugar and a healthy dose of butter, yes! Salt, oh hell no! Needless to say the cornbread got pushed to the side never to be ordered again at our table.

Loved it with colleagues. Had the delicious fried chicken sandwich today, which was outstanding as always. Crisp on the outside, moist and tender, juicy on the inside. This dish never fails to disappoint. For a nicer restaurant, I was expecting much more from the food. The expensive streak was overlooked and tough. The waffle from the fried chicken was too doughy and the waiter was a bit rude and inattentive. The hostess, cocktail waitress, and our server were incredibly friendly, and had great senses of humor, even getting in on some of our good-natured sibling rivalry.

The food was really good but the experience was amazing. I want to go back right now! Town Hall has a diverse menu with healthy food choices as well as comfort food. The service was good and the iced tea was awesome too.

Reservations are a must and they serve quickly and efficiently if you are dining for business. The food and service was excellent. We took home our leftovers and they were equally good the next day. Service was a bit slow in terms of a server coming to our table. I had to make eye contact with another server to convey that we've been sitting at our table for at least 15 mins.

Noise level is too loud for my taste. Even if it's a casual business meal. I think something can be improved in the acoustics of the space. Maybe installing some noise reduction panels that will complement the look of the place?

Server was rude and dismissive , esp after we told her we were there for drinks and appetizers. This place was a great find. Louis ribs were delicious and the corn bread was unreal. Server attentive and pleasant. Food too spicy but otherwise high quality. Great food, really busy at lunch time but the service is efficient. Can't get enough of the chicken and waffles. I will eat here again and again. Just ok for the money and service began strong then went south.

We agreed we would not return. We once loved Town Hall, but I think they've just dropped the ball. Our server didn't really check in on us when our meal was served. Our cheese plate for dessert was laughable, as each serving of cheese was ONE bite and horribly presented. It just seemed like don't care much, anymore. The bartender was great, so if we do return, it'll be to sit at the bar.

Our friends, who have never been, aren't likely to return. It really was disappointing, unfortunately. This is my 2nd time eating at Town Hall. The 1st experience was excellent, which is why I decided to return. Sadly however, the meal was average at best.

The one side that was seasoned well was the jambalaya. Food and service were fantastic. Only downside, searing was disorganized. Great service and delicious food! I'm a bourbon girl so I often return to Town Hall just to read their descriptions so I can try new bourbons! I tell anyone who will listen about this little Town Hall nugget! It was really good fun and I would go again.

Great bar with very funky vibes. Restaurant can be a bit hit and miss depending on your order; black cod was missing and we were not able to order it. The waiter suggested a replacement with a rather bland steamed sea bass.

The venison fillet, however, packed punch, flavour and tenderness. Do your homework and read around before your visit; worth the effort since you're unlikely to be spending less that 50 pounds. The food was very nice especially the duck salad starter which was sufficient to share even as a starter portion.

The pad thai noodles were good but lacked enough prawns. The prices were a little on the high side. The table we were was cosy and allowed us to sit alongside rather than opposite each other. The place was very busy and buzzing with the loudish music.

I booked this restaurant as a surprise for my boyfriend and had a lovely time. We received great waiter service and the food was lovely. Would thoroughly recommend it. I was really looking fwd to trying out Crazy Bear. We were met my an arrogant receptionist who eventually seated us. Then it took another 15 minutes before we were given any menus. The food would have been very good had it not been overly spicy. I had the seared beef salad. I LOVE spicy food but this was almost inedible.

The only thing that saves the Crazy Bear from a total fiasco was it's ambience and interior. I took my boyfriend to Crazy Bear for his birthday and didn't really think it was good value for the money. Though the ambiance is good, the tables are very close together to the point of feeling like you should be talking to the other table and the food was mediocre. I won't be going again. Amazing place, amazing food and great service.

I would definately recommend. Great food, great service and lovely people. Crazy Bear is an all round great place. It has a real buzz about it and is also a really welcoming and comfortable place to be. The staff were genuinely friendly and helpful. Will definately go back. Great toilets too - a very amusing part of the visit.

Great meal, only criticism would be that the crispy duck salad was way too dry. Crazy Bear - London: Despite having a few problems finding the restaurant no name at the front , we had a fabulous evening. Service was very good. Our wine wasn't cold enough and the waitress was apologetic and immediately got us another bottle. Food was delicious, the soft shell crab to start was in a light batter and the crab was really tasty. Spicy king prawns for a main were served with lots of chilli and garlic, yummy.

Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our evening and would return. My first visit to the Crazy Bear and it won't be my last. The food and service were both great. Great food and wonderful service in very stylish surroundings! The starters are quite big so watch out how much you order. Some tables are much lighter than others which are very dark so choose carefully if you don't want to be in the dark in the middle of the day at lunch. That said, if you want an exciting environment for a good meal, this is perfect!

Fantastic food and atmosphere as usual. Crazy Bear is the perfect place for great cocktails, yummy fusion food and for a fun night out. Entertained a friend from overseas this time - she was extremely impressed with the level of service and attention not to mention the quality of the food. Another fantastic experience - will be back soon! Good venue, the bar is great. Food was good but the service was only ok.

Crazy Bear- London The place is quite cute and intimate but music was too loud and we couldn't hear ourselves. I tried to call to make a massage booking and got a voice mail which I left my details for a call back, then heard nothing. I then emailed to try and book a Thai massage and move my food booking time, and then was told the booking time for the massage I wanted was gone, and I should have called, why was I not told on the 1st email rather than when the booking was gone?

Then we we got to the crazy bear. We had to wait agers for drinks menus then to receiving our drinks. As we were booked into the Thai restaurant we had to walk down the high street with our drinks, as we had to waited so long for our second round of drinks.

Then when we had our set food, 2 of the mains meals were pork, which were as hard as leather boots. When we explained to the waitress. I got a sorry. And I was very disappointed with it. For that kind of money I expected some of the best service ever and food to match that. I have to say either lived up to it. And I was very upset my it as we were both so excited to go to the crazy bear.

This was a huge amount of money spend on ok evening. After our dinner we felt we didn't want to return to the bar, so ended the evening in the pub across the road. Enjoyed the set menu, great quality and presentation.

Good Thai food and the groupon deal was very good value. The cocktails were too slow, the food was too fast. The tempura was far too heavy. I was served a chicken main course by mistake I'm vegetarian. The waitress was nice enough and took the service charge off. Ultimately we won't return as we found the stuffed animals in the bar very unpleasant.

It's different but expensive so can only be for a special occasion for us. Service was good although a little strange we were not allowed to keep our wine at our dinning table.

A shame about the It's something we wont tolerate and had it removed before paying. We did leave a generous tip in cash nevertheless but it was at our discretion and that way it goes to the staff not the company. This was the first time that I came to crazy bear. However I thoroughly enjoyed it. The restaurant has no air conditioning and was very very hot.

We stayed 45 mins and had a doggy bag. Visited restaurant over the weekend for my partner's birthday. It was such a disappointment and so over-priced! After telling the staff i was allergic to peas and beans, they then brought my curry over with tofu in it.

And charged me for a chicken curry which was a lot more expensive. Such a disappointment and not worth the money at all! Great food, fantastic service and a lovely atmosphere but a little pricey. At the time of booking I clicked the link to get a deal but on the day I found that it wasn't valid at weekends! Beware of that but well worth a visit anyway. We loved it and will go again. Chocolate brûlée was the best dessert I have ever tasted!!

Great ambeince and food was delicious! Open table summer salad menu - the Mojito was a glass of crushed ice, could't taste the alcohol. Starters good, main course OK. The garnish was different on each plate, we even questioned with the waitress if it was tuna.

No service charge added because we complained about the tuna - seems harsh on the serving staff. Also another annoying point is that the table was booked for 9pm only option I called on the day to see if I could change to 8pm to be told no, on arrival at 8pm the table was ready Rather than an enjoyable treat somehow dining is always an irritating disappointment.

Food and service was amazing! I would definitely recommend this restaurant to friends and family! Food was delicious but very expensive for what it is. Our table was in a dingy corner so couldn't really appreciate the ambience or atmosphere as felt a bit it off from the restaurant.

Excellent fun restaurant in Old Beaconsfield town centre.

Definitely my favorite dish, along with the Buttermilk Biscuits and Fried Okra, of course. Very disappointed in the wine. Two very high Pinot Noirs, Flowers and Hirsch were not up to standard. I wonder if the restaurant have a wine cellar in problem. Always good food and service. Very very slow and server did nothing to make up for it in attitude or compensation. Manager did check in eventually which was appreciated.

I love the ambiance. I just wish there was one or two non- read meat healthy entrees. The chicken is fried. I think the place would be packed if they had that. Area di San Francisco Bay. We had the dim sum tea menu which was plentiful and nicely presented. The hosts and servers were extremely attentive and couldn't do enough for us.

We hung out in both the up stairs restaurant and the downstairs cocktail lounge, both excellently decorated. The toilets are a little crazy for my liking I don't mind having a normal wee or being able to find the door etc I would strongly suggest the toilet doors are marked because what the management might see as novel and quirky is actually just an inconvenience to staff and customers alike.

Even I stopped people from going back upstairs because they couldn't find it! Other than that it was all dandy! I have been here many times and always enjoyed it. On our last visit we had a great time until it came to desserts. We were given dessert menus and then left for about 15 minutes. The waiter came over and as we were about to order desserts we were told our alloted time was finished and we could not have dessert.

Furthermore, the waiter tried to blame us for being late, which we weren't. Beaconsfield is a lot better, got our hopes up when coming to this one as expected better seeing as it is london. There was no space my chair kept getting knocked every minute, too noisy. Food took a long while to get to us however the two girls next to us came 30mins after us and got their starters and mains before any of our food came. Would recommend beaconsfield but definitely not fitzrovia.

Great food and plenty of it with the sharing platter, noisy, fun and lively atmosphere. Would definitely go back. Food always consistently good. Staff attentive and friendly. First visit with friends and family and we were not disappointed. Food was fresh, great flavours with a real chilli kick to the rib beef stir fry! Loved the sharing platter to start with. Good value wines followed up by the some great cocktails in the downstairs bar.

Service was excellent and they even arranged a table for the bar when we retired downstairs for those after dinner drinks. Crazy bear lived up to its great reputation. Overall great dining experience ,just right level of service friendy without being over attentive.

The food was fresh tasting with great flavours ,better than your standard Thai type restaurant. The ambience was warm and welcoming and would be a good place for a romantic dinner or small party of friends.

Would definetly go back again. The staff are very good and always there to recommend wines etc. Seating areas are well located. A little dark inside quite difficult to read the huge menu options.

Would certainly go back again. Bar downstairs is amazing but need to book a table in advance as you can't just decide to go for a drink after dinner.

Good value food, excellent service. Highly recommend champagne Wednesdays - great value when coupled with the Preview tasting menu. I had read in previous reviews that the tastin menu portions were small, but I would disagree.

The starts were small - as to be expected - but the 'mains' were very generous. Only disappointment was that we couldn't sit downstairs because there was an event on. Upstairs is much brighter and less intimate.

The staff were very friendly and very attentive. We had a lovely evening and I will definitely go back. Food was prompt, tasty, and well presented excellent wine list - house and other. We went for a special dinner to the Crazy Bear. The food was spectacular and definitely one of the best we had. Unfortunately there where two larger groups in the restaurant that were very loud and they did not care about other guests. The staff made their apologies for the disruption, but they did not manage the guests.

This made the evening less great and suppressed the overall feeling of the visit. I was welcomed by very polite, kind staff! My table was great, my friend was late but the staff were very friendly and talking with me.

We had the 11 course meal and it was amazing! Flavours were great and portions were more than enough! Thoroughly enjoyed the whole evening! Have already booked my next meal here! Great downstairs bar, lovely bar staff and to-die-for cocktails. Make sure you leave enough time to go there before your meal.

We really enjoyed the food although shrimp crackers and endamame beans are more sides than courses! However, lots of food which was really tasty and completely satisfied. Has a great feel good atmosphere atmosphere and ideal for that romantic night out.

Would definitely visit again. Lovely evening amazing food and service. Will definitely be recommending it to friends. Was a great meal but I was disappointed by over cooked duck and the skin was fatty and rubbery.

Brilliant restaurant tucked away from the hustle and bustle of goodge street tube. Fantastic food, great staff and really cool decor. Fab girls night out and would be fab for a first date. Cocktails and service were exceptional, food however was average and didn't live up to expectations.

Absolutely love this restaurant we had a special offer but boy it was worth it!!!!! This was a good restaurant and the food, ambience and service were very good. Our only problem was the size of the tables and trying to fit the 4 X 12 course tasting menu on it, as the courses don't come one after the other.

The menu is also huge, so I'd have an idea of what you want before hand as the tables are turned around quickly, so not a lot of time to peruse it. Would recommend for cocktails as bar lovely. Dined on the 11 courses 29 pounds offer. I was last in the restaurant over two years ago and while the food is good.

It is over priced and in need of a revamp. The lighting is too low, you need a touch light to read the menu, the staff need to be more attentive as I had to call staff to place my order and also to get the bill.

Brilliant food, brilliant service and great cocktails - whats not to love!!! This place is worth going to for the bar alone, but the food is good, notable for a menu as large as it is, and it is one if te few places in london that makes a decent pisco sour. Great lighting, great atmosphere and great service.

Not the cheapest, but good for a date or special occasion. We went for a Date Night last Friday and I would highly recommend this restaurant. All of the staff were very nice and accommodating. The table set up at first is a little odd as you are sitting next to each other rather than across from each other.

All in All I would say very good night out!

The only thing I take issue with is the cornbread. Good food, nice admosphere. Trout Wrapped In Bacon15 marzo The waiter suggested a replacement with a rather bland steamed sea bass. Shiitake, Button and Chestnut Mushroom Satay.

The food was a little too spicy for even me, someone who love spice! The Thai food is one of the best we have in the area. Temaki "Hand rolls" wrapped in cone shaped nori. It really was disappointing, unfortunately. The service was good and the iced tea was awesome .
